Vulva Casting
I allow one hour for vulva casting sessions. The actual casting time itself is quite quick. The remainder of your session will be completing a consent form, chatting, and looking at all the other amazing casts in my studio. We could also take some time to decide on the colour you’d like your cast to be!
You must be able to make it to my studio based in Brighton, UK.
Anything to prepare?
There is no need to shave for vulva casts. Any amount, colour/style of pubes are welcome! Your period won’t affect the cast either, if you use tampons I’ll ask you to tuck the string up, menstrual cups won’t show, and even free-bleeding is absolutely fine too.
Resin vs plaster?
Resin is a lot more durable than plaster. Meaning if you dropped it on a concrete floor it wouldn’t smash. Both casts will be made free-standing, but resin has the bonus of also being able to also hang on the wall. For plaster vulva casts the default colour is white, however you can choose almost any other colour for an additional £25. For resin you will be able to choose any colour, most colours are included in the price. Some cost a little extra like the colourshift, glitter, handpainted designs etc.
Vulva vs vagina cast?
Vulva casts are taken from the external part of your genitals. This includes your labia majora, labia minora, and clitoris. A vagina cast is a cast of your internal vaginal canal. Although I have made my own vagina cast, I am not yet offering vagina casting as a service.
When will my cast be ready?
Your cast will be ready to be posted or collected roughly 8 weeks after your casting session for plaster, and 12 weeks for resin. If you need it sooner, please ask if this is possible.
How much will it cost?
Vulva casts in plaster cost £350. Vulva casts in resin cost £495.
